City Council (Study) — February 9, 2026
Sheridan and SAWS are jointly asking the state to fund a study of Lake DeSmet as the region's long-term water supply. A earlier 2023 attempt failed because the scope was too Sheridan-focused; a year of stakeholder work fixed that. If approved, the study is 100% state-funded and takes about two years.
